  • Skin Glow Program FAQs

Men and women alike can benefit greatly from our Skin Glow Program. Anyone interested in improving their skin and reducing the visible signs of ageing, scars, or skin damage or simply maintaining a youthful look is a great candidate for the Skin Glow Program.

The most popular areas that respond very well include:

  • Face
  • Under eyes
  • Neck
  • Chest
  • Back of the hands
  • Lips

How does the Skin Glow Program work?

The three treatments have been chosen by our specialist cosmetic dermatologists for their combined effects. No treatment doubles up unnecessarily on the effects of the others, instead they all join forces to smooth, clear and tighten skin, with the effects culminating over time.

How long does the Skin Glow Program take?

You’ll need to come in for two sessions, with the Genesis on the first session, then four weeks later, you’ll receive the LED therapy and the Redensity-1 injection treatment. You will be advised how long each session will take at consultation.

How long do the treatments last?

The treatments lasts from six months to a year, depending on the area treated and your skin condition. Another treatment should be performed every six months for best results.

What does the Skin Glow Program treatments feel like?

The Genesis is a mild-feeling pain-free laser treatment. The LED light therapy is very relaxing – you lie back and the warm light works its magic on your skin cells.

The Redensity-1 part of the program involves a series of very small injections with our Vital Injector 2, which is a state-of-the-art injecting machine that applies five needles simultaneously. This means more efficient, faster treatments. Pain or discomfort is minimal, with some painkillers advised about 90 minutes prior to the treatment. Anaesthetic cream will be applied to the skin to minimise any discomfort.

The special micro-injection machine – the Vital Injector 2 – has a 5-needle system that ensures precision injections of the Redensity-1 fluid to just below the skin. The formula then works to absorb water (for hydration) and improves collagen formation by stimulating skin cells called fibroblasts.

What will my face look like afterwards?

Once the treatment is complete, there may be some mild bruising or swelling, however this tends to go down quite quickly. Discuss your needs with your doctor or nurse prior to your treatments so you know what to expect from each treatment. There may be some redness for a few hours after some treatments.

Are dermal fillers safe?

Our dermal filler is extremely safe and is one of our best and most effective dermal treatments. This is because it actually improves your skin over time, unlike other dermal treatments which may be effective as a filler, for example, but do not offer any skin improvements. This is why we love our dermal fillers.

The formulation we use is called Redensity-1, and its sole function is to improve the quality of the skin cells from the inside out. The increase in collagen and moisture after the treatments means firmer, more youthful-looking skin, a decrease in fine lines and wrinkles, with these improvements continuing over time.

Other anti-ageing treatments that work well with the Skin Glow Program

Further skin treatments can complement this program, including dermal fillers, laser skin rejuvenation, and anti-wrinkle injections. Your face can be treated in several ways, with the Skin Glow Program to top it off and maintain your rejuvenated skin for longer.

Benefits of our Skin Glow Program

This treatment is fast, effective, and incurs minimal downtime for long-lasting results. If you are using other treatments, like lasers and fillers, it can really boost the results, offering youthful-looking skin for far longer.
