The Hydrafacial is a refreshing facial treatment to have you glowing and ready for your next event.

How the Hydrafacial works

We do an initial gentle exfoliation and resurfacing to allow optimal penetration of the next treatment phases, while also working to reveal fresh skin cells. We then use a special device to gently remove debris from your pores, with state-of-the-art technology that uses science to penetrate deeper, without irritation or inflammation. We then follow up with an intense moisturiser.

To round the treatment off, we ensure every inch of your face is saturated in antioxidants and peptides for maximum glow. The Hydrafacial is a gentle, effective skin treatment for all skin types.

What to expect from a Hydrafacial at our Melbourne clinic

Your face won’t be red after treatments, because the applications are so gentle. Your skin will feel clean and radiant, so much so that you may want to skip the foundation that day! You’ll notice that your skin looks brighter, feels softer, and you’ll need less cover-ups.

There are no side effects from the Hydrafacial, just improvements in skin tone and texture.

Why we love the Hydrafacial

This deeply hydrating facial treatment reduces wrinkle depth through hydration, helps support healthy collagen production, refines pores and firms skin, and it does so without harsh chemicals or abrasives.

Your skin will look and feel rejuvenated, visible immediately after your treatments. Deeper layers of skin are moisturised and enriched as the treatment is massaged into your face during a relaxing, comfortable treatment.

The gentle exfoliation and cleanse removes dirt and makeup, preparing your skin for the active, deeply moisturising treatments, which is then topped off with an antioxidant-rich serum. None of our Hydrafacial ingredients are irritating.

How long does the Hydrafacial take?

Each treatment is about 30 minutes – the perfect lunchtime walk-in walk-out procedure to freshen your look instantly.

Hydrafacial technology

The Hydrafacial device uses patented vortex fusion technology, which combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration in one treatment and that’s what makes the Hydrafacial device special.

Why is hydration so important for skin?

Hydration is the basis of healthy skin since every cell in the human body relies heavily on water to function optimally. Hydrated skin cells are fuller, removing the tendency for dehydrated skin to wrinkle and become crepey over time. Hydrated skin is more robust, able to function at its best, and is radiant compared to dehydrated skin.

The Hydrafacial deeply hydrates your skin, applying intensive treatments deep into your pores. The treatment is invigorating, individualised, and soothing to the skin.

Avoiding irritation is important to maintain your skin’s health and vitality. Sometimes irritating facial treatments are required to achieve certain outcomes in skin (like resurfacing), which can cause redness, dryness and flaking as part of their healing process. The Hydrafacial instead relies on the device’s 3 in 1 vortex fusion technology, which removes the dirt and dead skin cells out of your pores, cleanses and revitalises your skin, all in one treatment.

The Hydrafacial removes clogging skin debris, providing deep hydration and nourishment. This skin treatment offers instant, noticeable results – expect compliments!

Who can have Hydrafacial treatments?

These ultra-hydrating facial rejuvenation treatments are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skins. Your cosmetic dermatologist can choose specific additions to enhance the effects of the Hydrafacial, with serums or customised skincare. You will need a skin evaluation and sensitivity testing prior to your treatments.

Does a Hydrafacial hurt?

No! The Hydrafacial treatment is very relaxing and comfortable, causing no discomfort. You can get right back to your normal activities after treatments, with no downtime, no recovery, no redness – just soft, glowing skin. You can wear makeup immediately after your treatments if you want to.

How long do results last?

Like any good cosmetic treatment, you’ll need multiple treatments for best results, however, the smooth, soft skin will last for about a week. You will notice immediate results, making the Hydrafacial a perfect treatment for a special occasion or as part of your anti-aging strategy at your trusted cosmetic dermatologist.
