Genesis is great for balancing out redness, minimizing pore size and increasing collagen renewal to the treated areas. Can also help to improve red-based scars. The laser gently heats the dermis (the layer of skin underneath the outer layer, the epidermis), which shrinks the blood vessels that cause redness, pinkness, and flushing. It can also help stimulate collagen production and constrict small blood vessels.
The Genesis can also work in conjunction with the Excel V. Excel V laser, however, does come with some downtime. The Genesis does not.
