Tixel® treatment uses controlled thermal energy to treat fine lines, skin texture and rejuvenate the skin’s surface. A heated pyramid-spiked metallic plate is stamped onto the skin to deliver short bursts of heat energy. This stimulates a natural healing response, prompting collagen production and skin tightening. Effective for treating wrinkles, fine lines, uneven skin texture and sun damage.
Tixel® is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that effectively targets acne scarring, fine lines, uneven skin texture, skin laxity, and wrinkles—and it’s suitable for all skin types.
Tixel® not only tightens existing collagen fibres in the dermis but also stimulates new collagen production,
This innovative technology offers fractional ablative, non-ablative, and open-channel modes, making it versatile for a range of skin concerns. Tixel® works by delivering controlled thermal energy through a biocompatible heated tip that gently creates micropores in the skin’s surface.
The level of energy transferred is precisely controlled by adjusting the tip’s exposure time and thermal conductivity, allowing for a fully customised treatment based on your unique skin needs.
Tixel addresses skin concerns such as wrinkles and fine lines, sun damage, skin discolouration, age spots, acne scars and skin & and texture.
Some of the benefits are:
This treatment has been offered at DIV and now ENRICH Clinic can offer it to all our patients too.
Thermo-Mechanical Ablation (TMA): Tixel uses a patented TMA technology, which involves the controlled transfer of heat energy to the skin through a grid of micro-pyramids. This process promotes skin rejuvenation and addresses a variety of concerns.
Multiple Treatment Options: Tixel offers different treatment tips, each designed for specific areas and levels of intensity. This versatility allows for precise treatment of various skin conditions.
Suitable for Different Skin Types: Tixel treatment is generally safe for various skin types and tones, with a reduced risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation compared to certain laser treatments.
Makeup needs to be removed in the area where you are having treatment.
It is normal to feel some discomfort with this procedure. As the TIXEL device is applied to the skin, patients might feel a series of sensations;
Patients might experience a warming sensation, similar to the feeling of being out in the sun on a warm day. This is caused by the heat energy from the device being transferred to the skin
Patients may also experience a light pricking or tingling sensation. A series of treatments may be required to achieve optimal results.
This depends very much on the state of your skin.
Like many other treatments, achieving optimal results often requires a combination of techniques over time – this maybe annually or a situation where coming the Tixel with other treatments get the results you are looking for. Our team will talk about your needs and expectations at your consultations and suggest accordingly.
Improvement may be seen after 1-2 months as the collagen remodelling in the deep layers of the skin that cause smoothing and tightening can take several months to occur.There may be gradual improvement for up to a year following a full series of treatments.
Consult your practitioner for further details and for a treatment plan that is tailored especially for you.
