🔴 Redness treatment by @drafrahmazar : The Excel laser treats redness, rosacea, broken blood vessels, flushing, blue veins around the eyes, red spots (Campbell de Morgan spots) & the list goes on. This lovely patient wanted to treat her generalised redness and blood vessels & this was the result of only one treatment. Some patients may need more than one treatment & these results are not permanent. Eventually, the redness & blood vessels will come back, some factors expedite this process, such as sun exposure. The Excel & it’s gentler component, Genesis, can both reduce redness & improve skin quality. FAT DISSOLVING JOWLS AND CHIN: By @drafrahmazhar. This patient wanted a sharper jawline & had a natural volume in her lower face, which was exacerbated by the presence of jowls and her sub-mental (chin) fat pad. She had these results from just one treatment of fat-dissolving injections. The 'after' photos are taken a few months after treatment. This usually takes 2-3 sessions at least, sometimes more & is entirely dependent on the individual patient. FRECKLE REMOVAL by @drafrahmazhar: One of the most common results of sun exposure, whether deliberate or even accidental through car windows when driving. Some people love their freckles & wouldn’t part with them for anything & then I have some patients who want smooth and even toned (no pigment) skin. This lovely patient didn’t like her freckles & wanted them gone as much as possible. I treated her with our PICO laser, which delivers the energy in one picosecond. This rapid delivery ensures less prolonged heating of the skin, thus being a more effective option for any skin type. 1 week downtime while the pigment goes darker, & then it either fades or flakes, & this is the result. Freckles will always recur with continued sun exposure, so I have also advised sunscreen and specific skincare that will fade pigment as it comes up. Periodically we may also repeat the treatment every few years as needed. M-shaped upper lip corrected with dermal filler Ⓜ️👄 by Dr Maria Milone. What is it? Where the upper lip is tight and contracted on either side of the central upper lip fullness creating an M-shaped lower border. The M refers to the shape created by the upper lip lower border, also referred to as seagull shape lips ( imagine wings in flight). Filler restores a straight border to the lower most part of upper lip (where it meets the inside of the lip mucosa). Usually requires 2 sessions 6 months apart with some gentle opening of the space with some back & forth action of the needle, so-called “subscision”.
